Hall-of-Fame MLB pitcher Phil Niekro will be on site to celebrate! 250 tickets will be distributed at 7:30 am on Wednesday, November 2nd for the Niekro autograph session at the new store in Anniston, AL. Tickets are limited to one (1) per customer. Autograph session will start at 10am.
Phil Niekro is a former MLB pitcher, best known as “Knucksie” for his famous knuckleball, who pitched for the Braves, Yankees, Indians, and Blue Jays for 24 seasons from 1964-87. He played most of his career with the Braves, where he helped them capture their first-ever NL West division title in 1969. On Aug. 5, 1973, Niekro pitched a no-hitter against the Padres. He had a career 3,342 strikeouts, won five NL Gold Glove Awards and was named to five all-star teams. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1997.
